Guidelines on The Media Coverage was given on 23 July 2021. Certain additional inputs are being forwarded.
1. It should be ensured by State Heads that the Press Release of an event includes details of efforts put in by members . Coordination done with local Administration should be covered. The background of the event and likely benefits to locals should be mentioned. Many a times, the press release is full of famous quotes, giving very less space to the event, which should be avoided. The Press release must be send for publication,after being routed through State Head. For a professional output, it is suggested that all State Heads nominate a Media Consultant, to improve the quality of Press Releases . The resultant team work will ensure production of a better reporting. Full utilization of the expertise and experience of Media Consultant is required.
2. Henceforth, the Press Releases from the States should be send through National Administrator, for publication in National WhatsApp groups.
3. All State Heads are requested to forward name of Media Consultant by 25 August 2021.
