**Support*to Crona* *Warriors*and*Needy* *Persons through DG Health*

1. The cases of Corona had seen an upward swing during the months of Jan/Feb 2022. Now, , a downward swing has been noticed, due to remedial measures undertaken by the Govt. The spread of Corona can be checked by Immunisation, Social distancing  and  use of Masks/ Sanitizers. Frontline Corona warriors like police persons and Health Workers are giving their best by relentless service to patients and public. Also more  facilities should be made available to Rural areas. With these objectives a drive was started by NCCHWO, J&K, wherein funds were collected by members for procurement of N95  Masks and Sanitizers for distribution to CORONA Warriors and general public.               

2. During function at Sanskriti School Jammu, to spread awareness on Drugs menace, Masks were presented to SSP Anti Narcotics, Mr Vinay Kumar Sharma, on 25 Jan 2022 ,for distribution to front line Police persons, deployed day/night  on duty ,during Pandemic. Again,  on 8 Feb, Masks were presented to ECHS ,Jammu, for utilisation by the medical staff and Ex Servicemen/their families. Col Virender Kumar Sahi ,VrC was also present on the occassion along with OIC, Col Rawel Singh and the Medico Staff of ECHS, Jammu.          

3. In rural areas, the people are not very forthcoming to use the  Masks.  Hence, DG Health Service, Jammu Dr Saleem was approached to accept Masks/Sanitizers for utilisation by Health Workers and people from the  rural areas.  Dr Saleem assured that N 95 masks and Sanitizer , being donated, will be utilised exclusive for Frontline workers and poor people of Rural areas.       4. NCCHWO Head ,J&K, Brig Harcharan Singh assured the services of the NGO for all noble causes , concerning human welfare. On this occasion,he also thanked Dr Happy Kour Sasan for deciding to provide free Medical support to poor and needy, for eye related surgery. The spirit to help the needy was highly appreciated by all present.  DG Health ,Dr Saleem emphasised upon the combined efforts of Govt , NGOs and Public to get full benefits of  the health facilities. The proceedings of the function were steered by Sh Saryansh Jain . He also thanked the coordinator of the event, Dr Shahid Hussain, State Immunization Officer , for his sincere efforts  Dr Saleem thanked the contributions made for masks/sanitizers by  Sh Giat Nandan  Jain, Navin Jain, Rashmi Jain, Ramnik Singh, Dr Ritesh Gupta, Advocate Supriya Chauhan, Gurvinder Kour and Parmjit Kour.
