NCCHWO has selected Women Empowerment as one of the preferred agendas, so that stories connected with Indian Nari Shakti could be projected at National and International levels. Prominent Women ,excelling in various fields are brought into the folds of NCCHWO, who then act as icons/examples for others. Recent in this list is Tina Sahi, who joined NCCHWO, Jammu.
Tina Sahi is an ultra-runner, accomplished businesswoman and hybrid athlete, who has won some of the most fierce and challenging marathons across the country. Known for her relentless spirit and pursuit of excellence, she consistently pushes her limits, both on and off the track.
Highlights of her journey include:
First woman from Jammu & Kashmir to
complete the Ladakh Marathon.
• First woman from Jammu & Kashmir to
complete the Khardung-La Challenge (72km) in Ladakh.
Successfully completed the Kangra Heritage
Ultra 100KM.
Conquered the Jaisalmer Ultra 'Hell Race'
100KM Border Run.
* Recently Won Surya Spiti-Kunzum La challenge under 77km
Actively engaged in
women's upliftment and empowerment.
Tina is not only a symbol of endurance and determination but also a trailblazer ,inspiring others through her achievements.
She has been welcomed by Central leadershio in to the folds of NCCHWO. She will be a live example of hard work, dedication and Resilience .She will motivate others to train , work hard and achieve impossible.
