A mass participation of players was organized by World Karate Masters Association (WKMA)
under its President Mr Balamurgan, at SIVET College ,Chennai . Mr Rishinath was deputed by Guinness World Records, London, as Adjudicator to verify the event as "Largest Karate Display.
held at S.I.V.E.T. College, Chennai, Indiaon 5th October 2025.
To witness and verify the record, Mr. Rishi Nath, Official Adjudicator from London (Guinness World Records), attended the event.
He observed, verified, and officially cleared the attempt, attended by more than 3000 participants. Many dignitaries from Rotary Club and other Organization were present.
From NCCHWO, State President Karnataka Dr Vasantha Poovaiah (President Karnataka) and Dr Praveen Ranka (Karnataka Gen Secy) participated in the event and were part of New Guinness World Record Team. The new Record has been acknowledged, and an Official Certificate will be issued by Office of Guinness World Record, London, within 3 Months.After conclusion of the Competition, Dr Vasantha and Dr Praveen Ranka were honoured with "Mastero in Karate Award for 2025" by WKMA.
Such Sports events motivat youth to excel in sports.The youth finds an aim in their life, thereby, channelizing their energy towards constructive, positive and Nation building activities. The martial Arts boosts confidence and empowers the Women , to deal with crisis situation, encountered during day today life. It will be pertinent to mention here that NCCHWO has been regularly training students in Self Defense, as part of their Women Empowerment drive.
The participation of Dr Vasantha and Dr Praveen Ranka in the Record Breaking feat was greatly appreciated by the National Leadership of NCCHWO.
