National Corruption Control & Human Welfare Organisation has initiated Project NAMAN which provides a platform to the Citizens/ NGOs to connect with Shahid Parivar. Citizens adopt Families of Martyred Soldiers to provide psychological support to them and provide professional guidance to their children. These During visit to these families ,their problems are discussed and solutions are provided through appropriate agencies. One such Veer Nari, Smt Santosh Bhatti, was helped In February, to resolve a legal case pending at Police Station, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Another Veer Nari Chanchala Devi has been adopted by member of NCCHWO Smt Anju Khajuria. She has a long pending issue of Pension and a court case. Brig Harcharan Singh and Ms Anju Khajuria visited Sainik Welfare Office Jammu, to explain the case. A very prompt action was taken by the ZSWO Akhnoor, Col Manjit Singh Bhau, SM. Brig Harcharan Singh appreciated the efforts of Sainik Welfare Deptt Jammu and said Veer Naris can benefit more, through combined efforts of Army, Sainik Welfare Deptt and close interaction of Citizens/NGOs with Veer Naris. NGOs are proud to serve the families of those, who sacrificed their life for the Nation.Till now, 26 martyrs families have been adopted in Jammu and 10 at Srinagar, under Project NAMAN by NCCHWO.
