Celebration of Father's Day by NCCHWO-- Paying Tributes to a War Hero : Brig Harcharan Singh, National Administrator

 





Father's Day is celebrated to recognize the contribution made by a Father for his family. Father symbolizes dedication, sacrifices and his Rock Solid support assured to the family during the crisis situation.

Brig Harcharan Singh, National Administrator NCCHWO,  decided to celebrate Father's Day as an occasion to express tribute to a Father, who is a War Wounded and Gallantry Award winner of 1971 War, from 4  Assam Regiment.

Team of NCCHWO called on Capt Mohan Singh, Vir Chakra, hero of 1971 war. This event was conceptualized to offer  tributes to all soldiers who  provide assured Rock Solid support to the country in all adversaries. They sacrifice for their country and citizens and symbolize dedication,  loyalty and commitment.

Capt Mohan Singh, VrC is presently rendered immoblized and bed ridden due to old age, but his teachings and personal examples continue to guide the youth of J&K.

NCCHWO ,J&K is honored to have another decorated soldier as it's esteemed member, Col Virender Kumar Sahi,  VrC,  who is a War Hero of Battle of Lalyali, J&K.

NCCHWO tries to motivate youth through stories of valour and sacrifices of the brave soldiers. This  event was attended by the family members. Mrs Paramjit Kaur( National President Women Empowerment Cell NCCHWO) is the proud daughter of Capt Mohan Singh,VrC.

Central leadership appreciated the event organized  by team of NCCHWO, J&K and reiterated its resolve to hold events to  honor our soldiers , with active participation of our Youth. With prevailing security Situations, it is high time that Citizens are made aware about saga of sacrifices made by our soldiers, so that we learn from history. Any Nation, who does not learn from their history ,is destined to doom. That is why, in Army, Military history is taught extensively. NCCHWO will continue conducting events to remind Nation about rich heritage and sacrifices of our Bravehearts.
