To provide shelter to victims of terrorism, Aditi Bhawan was inaugurated at Ved Mandir Complex ,Jammu. The event was attended by many NGOs ,including National Administrator of NCCHWO, Brig Harcharan Singh and Mr Shreyansh Jain. The attendance of NCCHWO members during the event was a mark of appreciation for the work done in the field of Women Empowerment by Aditi Sewa Parishthan.
The UT of J&K has been a witness to violence unleashed by Pakistan sponsered Terrorism. The terrorists have been targeting Security forces and civilians, through acts of merciless killings, torture, rape, Kidnappings etc. The Women and children of the victim families are the worst sufferers, who are left in a financial and psychological crisis situation, after their earning member is killed by terrorists. Aditi Sewa Parishthan started giving shelter to helpless ladies and children of such families. In addition , education facilities are provided and marriage of girl child is arranged, after they attain marriage able age. The NGO is functioning under the guidance of Ms Pankaja, who is highly respected by members of these families.
Aditi Sewa Parishthan is supported by many NGOs in their noble mission. The NGO has taken a different route to support victims of terrorism by providing them with a safe environment, education facilities and job oppurtunities , so that victims of terrorism live with dignity.NCCHWO is committed to support such NGOs, who run projects to prepare Women to get a respectable place in society.
NCCHWO has also started Project NAMAN to adopt and support families of terrorist affected violence. Efforts by various NGOs would ensure ,terrorist violence affected families are given support of the society and children are empowered through education and guidance.
