NATIONAL CORRUPTION CONTROL AND HUMAN WELFARE ORGANIZATION ( NCC & HWO), INDIA Today 28/06/2026. conducted a free self defence program for female students in Government college . Shakarnagar Bangalore. Karnataka This program was organised by Government college Principal Venu Gopal.
The self defence session was led by Kyoshi K. Vasantha Poovaiah and team, who is also the National Coordinator ( Civil Defense Cell) and president of the National Corruption Control & Human Welfare Organization, Karnataka state.
There were around 50 students enrolled for the program out of self interest. The coaching took place at the college ground .
The members were taught basic fitness exercises so that they can continue in their daily life and keep themselves fit and healthy; simple slef defence techniques were taught which will help them to keep themselves safe in the situation of need. What was more impressive was that the members had good physical strength and showed a lot of interest in learning new techniques.
