Fundamental Duties act as a tool for civic education, promoting moral values and ethical conduct. They help instill a sense of responsibility, discipline, and civic consciousness, shaping individuals into responsible Citizens. Every member of NCCHWO is motivated to educate the Society to follow rules, essential to maintain Safety of individuals and Society.
An educational interaction was done with NCCHWO Cashier Sh Ramnik Singh by FM Radio. The Radio has a very vast reach, which could be utilized to spread Rules and policies of Govt. connected with safety of individuals and Society. Mr Ramnik Singh is a Petrol Pump Owner, son of a War Decoraed and War Wounded Soldier of 1971 War. He was contacted by FM Radio to clarify certain rules of Govt connected with driving of Two Wheelers.
Mr Ramnik Singh clarified that no Two Wheeler will be issued Petrol if the driver is not wearing a Helmet. It is being followed by his Petrol Pump, as this small initiative is likely to save life of driver of a Two Wheeler, in case he meets with an accident. As per details, around 75000 persons died in Two Wheeler accidents in 2022 ,which is 44% of total Road accident deaths. A small initiative of wearing helmet could had saved these precious lives
Another Govt Rule stipulates that loose Petrol cannot be sold to any one. Ramnik Singh clarified that interaction of Petrol with Plastic Bottle could lead to Fire hazard and the loose petrol can also be misused to make Malatov Cocktail.. His Petrol Pump is strictly following safety guide lines and does not issue loose petrol..The message on wearing of Helmet and not to carry loose petrol in containers has been spread through the medium of the FM Radio. Education to people on these basic precautions is likely to save precious lives. Members of NCCHWO would always take initiative to spread awareness in the society, on such issues ,which are required to be known by citizens , who otherwise tend to overlook them due to lack of proper education and awareness.
