Popularly known as Iron Lady of J& K, Ms Tina Sahi , member of NCCHWO Jammu took up yet another challenge when on 11-12 Oct 2025 ,she participated in the 60 km "Hell Race" at Solong in Himachal Pradesh. It is organised as "Solon Sky Ultra race" that involves climbing, navigation, treking and jungle survival dense forest areas, infested with dense forest and wild animals.
Due to the tough and rugged terrain of the route of the race, the failure rate is so high that most of participant give up and cannot complete it. The race is ill reputed as DNF (Did Not Finish) race.
Ms Tina in her mid forties, is the first ever and only lady athlete of J&K to have successfully completed this challenging adventure race, reputed as world's toughest and risky mountain adventure.Out of 30 odd participants, only 10 tough athletes completed the challenge,including Ms Tina Sahi.
NCCHWO selects Women members, who are capable to motivate others with their achievements in various fields. Many a times Ms Tina Sahi has been invited to address youth about Women Empowerment,who get inspired by her personal example of determination, grit, hardwork and Resilience.
The Central leadership of NCCHWO has appreciated the efforts of Ms Tina, who motivates Women to excel in various fields of sports and Academics.She has really proved that Nari can achieve anything, if given oppurtunity and guidance .
