Annual Meeting of NCCHWO was held at Jammu to assess the progress of the Projects/Objectives of the past and set goals for future.The meeting was presided over by Brig Harcharan Singh . The stage for the meeting was coordinated by Col Virender Kumar Sahi, VrC. He opened the meeting with an introduction to the organization and working of NCCHWO. The meeting started with a Patriotic song by Ms Suresh Bala.
Brig Harcharan Singh addressed the members, giving out the progress of various Projects carried out till date. He emphasized that the aim of NCCHWO is to look after the underprivileged . All members have worked to ensure success of all projects, exhibiting a fine example of Team Work. The hard work has been recognized and most of the members have been awarded an Appreciation Certificate by National Leadership. Selfless services rendered by Sr Vice President, Late Sh Giat Nandan Jain were mentioned.
Introduction to all members was made by Brig Harcharan Singh. Golden members are accomplished members of the society from various fields, who motivate the youth through interaction made from time to time. Amongst them are Col Virender Kumar Sahi,VrC, Capt Bana Singh, PVC, Veer Nari Ruby Bano, Sh ID Soni and Sh Rajesh Padha. It is worth mentioning that during Operation Sindoor, Col Sahi volunteered to serve/ help the Army.
During the ceremony, Paramjit Kaur National President Women Empowerment , Sh Navin Jain State Coordinator and Ramnik Singh Treasurer were present. Sh Swatantar Aggarwal has been selected as President J&K, while Sh Pradeep Jain is appointed as Sr Vice President.
Identity Cards/ Appreciation Cards were distributed to new members to include Swatantar Aggarwal , Pradeep Jain, Ramnik Singh, Naveen Jain,Capt Ghar Singh, Jaininder Jain,Sanjiv Trehan, Jatinder Pal Singh ,Col Ajay Raina and Anoop Jain. Amongst Women members Paramjit Kaur,Suresh Bala, Anju Khajuria and Tina Sahi were felicitated and given Identity Cards.
The gathering was addressed by Col Ajay Kumar Raina, SM , to cover the role and involvement of Citizens in any future war. Senior Journalist ,Sh Pradeep Dutta covered the role of Media in spreading Nationalism and Patriotic values. He is also interviewing Veer Naris, as a Project of NCCHWO ,to bring out stories of Sacrifices and bravery.
All members agreed to sponsor various future projects and vowed to make efforts to carry out meaningful projects to help the needy. A Projects to spread Nationalistic values and help Veer Naris with peculiar problems is being planned at Delhi/Jammu in near future..
