The Tamil Nadu State Legal Cell of the National Corruption Control & Human Welfare Organization (NCC&HWO) convened a virtual meeting on 1 July 2026, called by Mr. Ranjeet Verma, National Chief Secretary, and hosted by Mr. G.S. Dogra, National IT Head. The session brought together Mr. S. Jayaprakash, State Director; Ms. Deepa B., State President; and core members Ms. Gowri Shankari, Mr. Hariharan, Mr. Balaganapathi, Mr. Anbarasu, and Ms. Vijaya Varthini.
Following introductions of newly inducted members, the team conveyed its gratitude to NCC&HWO's national leadership and congratulated Ms. Deepa B. on her appointment as State President, pledging full support for her leadership.

He announced plans to expand the Cell into every district by inducting advocates, legal professionals, and volunteers, building a statewide network for legal service delivery. He further noted that a formal request has been submitted to the Government of Tamil Nadu seeking meetings with the Hon'ble Chief Minister and relevant Ministers to discuss legal awareness and welfare collaboration.
Members shared updates on ongoing regional initiatives, including legal literacy camps, free legal aid, student awareness sessions, and outreach in juvenile homes.
Ms. Deepa B., State President, commended the team's dedication and called for greater unity, integrity, and professionalism going forward. She announced that the Cell will hold weekly virtual meetings to review progress and coordinate new initiatives, and expressed confidence that the Tamil Nadu Cell will become one of NCC&HWO's strongest legal service wings.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolution to strengthen district-level teams, expand public outreach, and work closely with national leadership to advance the vision of accessible justice and social welfare for all.
