Freedom is rather easier to get, but difficult to maintain. People who value the Privileges above their principles, soon lose both. To celebrate Independence Day in a more meaningful manner, members of National Corruption Control & Human Welfare Organisation from Jammu, hoisted the flag in the presence of family members of a War Wounded and decorated soldier of 1971 War, Capt Mohan Singh, VrC. It was followed by a visit to the hero of Siachen, Capt Bana Singh, PVC. NCCHWO Golden Member, Col Virender Kumar Sahi, VrC, was greeted telephonically by Brig Harcharan Singh and other members. Col Sahi is presently undergoing medical treatment at RR Hospital Delhi. Further, best wishes for Independence day were conveyed to NCCHWO Golden member, Veer Nari Ruby Bano from Kashmir. It is due to the sacrifices of our soldiers that our Borders are safe and our Tringa flutters with pride. We, at NCCHWO, firmly believe that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance, personal responsibility and continuous sacrifice. National Administrator Brig Harcharan Singh coordinated the programme. President Women Empowerment Cell Paramjit Kaur was present. The function was attended by Pradeep Jain, Ramnik Singh, Dr Arti Bakshi, Anju Khajuria ,Suresh Bala and Jatinder Singh.

They add value to a clean and neat environment and we greatly appreciate their dedication and hard work. Similar gratitude is required to be extended to so many other citizens who play an important role to help us in our day to day functioning.
