A National Rally was held at Jammu, J&K, on 19 and 20 Nov 2023, by joint efforts of Army and War Wounded Foundation, Noida. 120 War Wounded Soldiers attended the Rally. 10 Modified Scooters were presented to soldiers, wounded during combat on 20 Nov. A programme was planned on 19 Nov by Citizens of Jammu to felicitate the Wounded Soldiers, in presence of senior Army officers, prominent citizens of Jammu and Veterans. During the event, Brig Harcharan Singh steered the proceedings. A brief on WWF activities was given by Lt General Asit Mistri, President WWF. Thereafter, Golden Member of NCCHWO, Mr ID Soni, spoke on behalf of Citizens of Jammu. He gave out the spirit of Nationalism and Patriotism of Citizens of Jammu and their dedication and respect towards the Indian Army and the brave Soldiers. The function was attended by NCCHWO members Brig Harcharan Singh, Ms Paramjit Kaur National Head Women Empowerment Cell, Sh ID Soni Golden Member, Sh Giat Nandan Jain State Sr Vice President, Sh Ramnik Singh Treasurer, Sh Swatantar Aggarwal Financial Advisor, Ms Sonia Singh, Capt Ghar Singh, Ms Rashmi Jain and Mr Anoop Jain, a new member, to be appoint.
The event had maximum number of presence from NCCHWO. We from NCCHWO are committed to support any event held to felicitate our Soldiers and Families of Martyres.
