1. 7th South Asian Karate Championship was held at Kathmandu, Nepal, from 28 November to 3 December 2023. Mr Arun Prabhakaran is an active NCCHWO Member from Tamilnadu. He has been a bright student of Karate and giving his services to Society by teaching Self Defence to the Girl Students, as part of Women Empowerment drive of NCCHWO.
2. Mr Prabhakaran was selected to represent India in 84 Kg + Category, in 7th South Asian Karate Championship, held at Kathmandu. It was his hard work that he bagged Gold Medal for the Country in Senior +84 Kg Kumite event. This sucess is only a stepping stones for many more laurels to come. National Chief Secretary NCCHWO, Mr Ranjeet Verma said that NCCHWO has fortunately accomplished Karate players on its role as Members, who can teach the intricacies of Self Defence to the Girls, thereby making them capable to defend themselves during crisis situation. On behalf of all members of NCCHWO, Mr Prabhakaran was congratulated and best wishes were extended to him for future endeavors.
