Ms. Deepa Kishan President of Distt. Kodagu, Karnataka has organised a Awareness program under the leadership of Dr. K. Vasantha Poorviah, National Coordinator (Civil Defence Cell). This program was organised associated with Srimati Swasaya Sanga. Ms. Deepa was the main speaker, her program as follow about cleanliness:
It is sad reality of our country that all cleanliness are just confined to religious activities or kitchen. We are not actually concerned about the dirt around us everywhere. I appreciate your efforts, but its not an easy job to make them understand. However, here are some methods can be adopted to make them aware of clean India movement.
1. Every single day give your example by action towards “SWACCH BHARAT ABHIYAN” “Go organic, stop using plastics, gift someone something wraped in newspapers, reduce your carbon, footprint, throw wrappers on dustbin only. There are numerous efforts you can make and give contributions towards cleanliness in India.”
2. Make them understand that we have some responsibilities towards India and cleanliness is one of them. It is duty to practice it in our daily life.
3. Probability is there, if you do above two in regular basis and show them your contribution towards “Swacch Bharat” they will adopt it slowly and steady.
4. Tell them, a large part of India would be avoiding various health hazards, if we just give our sincere contribution towards “Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan”.
Also Cricket tournament organised by State Joint Secretary Mr. MP Bopanna associated with “Coorg Cricket Foundation”, there were 86 teams. Top winners were distributed awards.
