Role of Youth in Nation Building and Avenues open to Join Army : Brig Harcharan Singh, National Administrator NCCHWO

 





Operation Sindoor has exhibited the Indian Resolve  , Will power and Military Capabilities to the World.To explain the sequence of events from 07 May onwards,during execution of Operation Sindoor  and to provide a detail analysis on Geo Politics, a lecture was held by Central University Jammu  for the Research Scholars.  The event was 

conceptualized by Dr Neeta, Head of Deptt of  National Security Studies.


The sequence of Indian Strike, Pakistani response , the Capabilities of Indian Weapon System and deficiencies in Pak Defence Capabilities were explained by Lt Gen (Dr) JS Cheema, an expert on Defence Studies, through virtual media.


Brig Harcharan Singh, National Administrator NCCHWO & Defence Analyst, covered th factors leading to  operation Sindoor,  in the backdrop of Indian Civilization, Ethos and  Traditions, where we believe in the concepts of coexistence as a   Global Family.He covered the Geo Politics of the region, with the fault line  of Pakistan, carved out due to Two Nation theory. Further, the  Interest of China, USA, Russia, Bangladesh  and other neighbours was covered, leading to the involvement of Pakistan in Irregular Warfare against India. With menance of Infiltration, the security challenges before India were highlighted.

 

The Students were apprised of the ongoing Covert Operation and involment of some neighboring countries  was explained. Students were told about Misinformation Campaign being launched to discredit India and to cover up the dirty game being played by others. Youth were called upon to be careful and also,  educate the environment on resolve of India to fight against Terrorism and Fundamentalistic ideologies. 


The audience was apprised about rich and glorious traditions of Indian Army and its sacrifices/ contribution made towards Nation building. It was brought out by Brig Harcharan Singh, that he has joined two NGOs to serve Soldiers , to express  gratitude towards their sacrifices . War Wounded Foundation, a Noida based NGO, looks after welfare of Disabled Soldiers. The second Organisation, National Corruption Control and Human Welfare Organization motivates Citizens to visit houses of Veer Naris in order to express gratitude of the Nation and to guide the children of Martyres for their next Career.

 

Various Avenues  to join Army in the rank of Officers, JCO and OR were explained and small booklets were distributed on the subject. The questions from the students  clearly indicated the Motivational level and environment charged with Nationalism. Youth showed eagerness to serve the Nation and make contributions as good citizens.


Dr Neeta and Dr Anuradha Choudhary managed the stage. They all pledged to create an environment, so as to defeat the Misinformation campaign being run by adversaries. Brig Harcharan Singh was  honoured by Prof Ritu Bakshi (Dean Student Welfare) and Dr Neeta. The programme ended with a recital of the National Anthem.
