An interview was conducted by a Bangalore based NGO Metamorphes. During the interview, Brig Harcharan Singh gave out initiatives being taken by two NGOs.
National Corruption Control and Human Welfare Organization (NCCHWO) has started a Project NAMAN, where ladies from Civil Society adopt Veer Naris, so as to provide Psychological support to the family and guide their children/provide Career Counseling to the children.
Brig Harcharan Singh is also member of a Noida based NGO,War Wounded Foundation, which looks after War Disabled Soldiers. The Disabled Soldiers are provided with Mobility Equipment , help to ESM to start own business, modification of Bathroom, help for Daughter's Marriage, Psychological Counselling through a Tele Help Line and help in sorting out documentation.
These NGOs are working to help Society to connect with our real Heros, ie, our soldiers/Veer Naris.
