10th Veteran's Day was celebrated all over the country. On this day, in 1953, the first C-in -C of Indian origin,FM Cariappa retired. To express gratitude of the Nation towards the valor, dedication and sacrifices of our Veterans, functions are held.
Brig Harcharan Singh, VSM, National Administrator NCCHWO, was invited at Amritsar by Army authorities. He presented keys of 12 Modified Scooters to Sh Mohinder Bhagat, Minister of Punjab Govt, who further presented
the keys to Disabled War Veterans, who were injured due to enemy action. While addressing the Rally of ESM, Brig Harcharan Singh appreciated efforts of Govt, Army and NGOs for running Welfare Schemes for the ESM and for providing dedicated support.
Col Virender Kumar Sahi, VrC, Golden Member of NCCHWO, attended ESM Rally at Jammu. Smt Ruby Bano, Veer Nari and Golden Member of NCCHWO was also invited for a special felicitation function at Srinagar.
NCCHWO is committed to spread stories of valour and sacrifices of our Veterans and Soldiers, so that our Youth is motivated to serve the country with dedication and Resolve. Many programmes have been planned by NCCHWO to felicitate our brave Soldiers and Veer Naris in near future.
