On the occasion of World Cancer Day Dr. Neeraj Tandon, Deputy Director State Medical Cell, Uttar Pradesh of National Corruption Control & Human Welfare Organisation, organised a panel discussion on various types of common cancers in our country-their causes, symptoms, diagnostic methods treatments and prevention.
Event was held at CNS neuro surgical center, Indian medical association Lucknow participated in it & the first time IMA organised it outside the IMA bhavan to spread community awareness IMA secretary Dr sweta Srivastava was one of the panelists, IMA president Dr Manoj Asthana was chief guest, Dr Meenakshi, State President (Medical Cell), Uttar Pradesh moderated the whole event, many Doctors of IMA attended the discussion and a huge crowd of paramedics patients &attendants was present. The event made avery good social impact and widely covered by news papers.
