On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8th March), a special Girls Awareness Program on Free Self Defence and Fitness Training was successfully organized with the objective of empowering girl students with knowledge of personal safety, physical fitness, and self-confidence.
This awareness initiative was conducted by Nihan Goju- ryu Sports Karate Association in association with National Corruption Control and Human Welfare Organization (NCC HWO).
As part of this program, Free Self Defence Classes and Fitness Awareness Sessions were conducted for girl students at the Headquarter Nyan Gojurio Karate School, Banaswadi Kachohalli, and also in a few Government Schools. During these sessions, students were trained in basic self-defence techniques, martial arts movements, and physical fitness exercises. The program also focused on personal safety awareness, discipline, and confidence building among young girls.
The initiative received positive appreciation from students, teachers, and school authorities. Such programs are an important step towards empowering girls and promoting women’s safety and awareness in society.
