Soldiers have a unique place in the heart of the Country men . Many events are held to felicitate soldiers and their families by NCCHWO. Many similar thinking NGOs extend their support to NCCHWO for programmes designed to extend gratitude to our Soldiers. One such event was held at USI New Delhi, in 2025, where National Administrator of NCCHWO, Brig Harcharan Singh was invited by Bangalore based NGO, Metamorphosis, to pay tribute to Martyres. As a reciprocal gesture, Dr Mrs Shubha Tripathi ,visited NCCHWO Office at Jammu on 21 Feb 2026. The aim was to exchange views and chalk out future strategies to explore new areas in the field of welfare of Veer Naris.
Dr Shubha Tripathi is a Veer Nari herself . Her Husband ,Col Sarvesh Kumar Tripathi sacrificed his life in the Line of Duty on 21 Oct 2002. She has now joined Metamorphosis, to serve the Soldiers and Veer Naris.
Brig Harcharan Singh apprised Dr Shubha Tripathi about Project NAMAN, initiated by NCCHWO, wherein, Veer Naris are adopted by ladies of Civil Society. This interaction allows the citizens to express their gratitude towards the families of Martyres and infuses Nationalism and Patriotism in citizens. This association provides an additional channel to project problems of Veer Naris to authorities and provides them with Psychological support as well.
National President of Women, Empowerment Cell NCCHWO, Mrs Paramjit Kaur was present on the occasion. Personal experiences of adoption of Veer Nari were shared by NCCHWO Member Mrs Suresh Bala and Tejinder Singh.
NCCHWO Chief Secretary, National Chairman & National President, appreciated the efforts of Brig Harcharan Singh to support families of Martyrs. All members of NCCHWO are proud to be associated with a Noble project ,which has been designed to pay gratitude to the Soldiers and their families for their sacrifices. NCCHWO also appreciates NGOs like Metamorphosis , who are making valuable contributions to motivate the youth of the country through events ,where Martyres and their families are honored. The Nation will ever be grateful to those, who have given blood to ensure , our birders are safe and the Tricolour flutters with pride . Jai Hind.
