Indian Army is a true epitome of spirit of Patriotism, Values and Dedication. The brotherhood amongst the soldiers represents the true comraderie of Indians, coming from different cultures, States and religious faith. The Ethos , traditions and religious tolerance prevailing in Armed Forces are worth imitating by everyone.
On the eve of Infantry Day on 27 October, a Sarva Dharma Sammelan was organized at SS Jain Sabha ,Talab Tiloo ,under the guidance of Sh Rajinder Muni ji Maharaj, to promote brotherhood and to educate public about the philosophy of various religions. The audience was given glimpse of teachings of various religions by prominent representatives .
Speaking on the occasion , Brig Harcharan Singh, National Administrator NCCHWO said that Indian Army gives a perfect stage ,where troops from various religion/Faith coexist peacefully . There is a requirement to inculcate similar Nationalistic values in all children, from the school level itself. The mothers also require awareness to instill a balance thought process in their children. Appropriate stories of valour of soldiers should be part of our school text books.He gave examples of two Jains from the history, Bhama Shah who exhibited unique Nationalistic qualities by supporting Maharana Pratap in his efforts to continue war against oppressors. The other example is from Todar Mal ,who spent his whole wealth to buy land, for the last rites of two young sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
Sh Rajinder Muni ji Maharaj emphasized that all of us must work for the good of the Country and promote love ,affection and brotherhood amoungest citizens.
The programme was graced by Members of Jain Community and addressed by prominent personalities. Sh Anoop Jain along with another member of NCCHWO Sh Shreyansh Jain managed the Stage.
