In rural areas, citizens may not be able to avail best of health care facilities.Sometimes parents staying in remote hilly areas may not be able to get access to timely health care facilities for their children and also due to lack of knowledge. Some of children may suffer due to poor health care ,during tender age.
NCCHWO has maintained contact with people at grass root levels to identify needy people. One such Widow from a remote area had problem with a girl child and requested for a Wheelchair for her disabled girl of 7 years age. Brig Harcharan Singh , National Administrator of NCCHWO, observed that the girl child is undergoing an expensive and prolonged medical treatment for her ailment. The mother is a Widow and stays with her father, so that support is available for taking child to the hospital.
After interaction with many NGOs, Inner Wheel Club Jammu Tawi donated one Wheelchair for the girl child. NCCHWO thanks President and members for their considerate help.
The Widow was advised to put Child in a School for Special Children, so that the child could learn required skills from highly trained and specialized teachers. A request has been made to one such school and admission of child will be done, after the Widow provides her consent, after weighing viability of such perposal.
NCCHWO believes in networking with other NGOs to seek help for needy and Underprivileged citizens. Special mention is made of NGOs run by women, who are always forthcoming and volunteer to support the needy.NCCHWO firmly believes that,,If we transform our population into a trained, focused, balanced and inspired population, India will be a miracle. *Let's be the voice of Unseen and Unheard*.
